# Why does my project have no papers yet?

> New or narrow projects can take time to fill; adjust scope and settings if needed.

Common reasons:

* Project is still processing
* Project is paused
* Filters are too strict
* Topic is very narrow

Try this:

1. Wait for the next processing cycle.
2. Verify the project is active, not paused.
3. Broaden interest text slightly.
4. Remove harsh exclude keywords.
5. Enable adjacent papers.
